Sherie S. Troutman

Sherie S. Troutman, 63, of Oxford, died May 17.

Ms. Troutman was born in Coral Gables, Fla. on Feb. 6, 1946 to Mary Hawkins Sherman and Albert Sherman. She met Don Troutman working as a flight attendant with Northwest Airlines, while working with Don’s sister, Brenda.

She attended real estate school, and worked as a postal worker. She was a homemaker most of her life and her greatest joy was being a mother to Vanessa and Jason.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Vanessa and Ray Joyner of Loganville; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Julie Troutman of Sumter, S.C.; Vanessa and Jason’s father, Don Troutman of Mansfield.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
