William Benjamin “Repeat” Jump
William Benjamin “Repeat” Jump, 68, of Monticello, died Friday, July 27, 2009, at his residence.
“Repeat” Jump was born in Greene County. His mother was the late Janie Louise Marlow Hardegree. He lived in Covington before moving to Jasper County in 1988.
He served in the U.S. Army. “Repeat” was a truck driver for Ozburn’s Towing Service.
Survivors include his father, Buford Samuel Jump of Union Point; sisters and brother-in-law, Millie J. Preffer of Covington and Peggy and Frank Floyd of Lenoir City, Tenn.; a number of nieces and nephews; and caregivers: niece and nephew, Patsy Allen and Gene Bankston, both of Monticello.
A graveside memorial service was held Monday, July 27, at Lawnwood Cemetery in Covington. Rev. Charles Roper officiated.
Jordan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
