Two Charged with Sex Crime
Arrest warrants were issued Monday by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) charging Cordell Peacock, 17, of Shady Dale and Vincent Dudley, 17, of Monticello, with statutory rape in connection with a 13 year old female.
Christopher Howard, 17, of Monticello, also involved in the case, has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. One other young man involved in the case will be charged in juvenile court.
According to state law all of the above charges are misdemeanors since the perpetrators were only four years older than the victim.
According to the report leading to the warrant, at least three illicit incidents took place this summer as early as June 9.

Desmond Nakano Mullins, 24, Monticello—possession/manufacture/distribution of a controlled substance.
Randy Marcell Williams, 37, Monticello—disorderly conduct.
Thomas Edward Johnson, 29, Mansfield—battery.
Ramon Arturo Jackson, 33, Monticello—pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Edward Joseph Jural, 18, Tomaahawk, WI—hold for warrant in Wisconsin.
Thomas Michael Corbisiero, 31, Monticello—criminal damage to property in the second degree and criminal trespass.
Mathew James Robinson, 17, Monticello—criminal damage to property in the second degree and criminal trespass.
Kenneth James Harp, 18, Monticello—criminal damage to property in the second degree and criminal trespass.
James Richard Grubbs, 32, Monroe—theft by taking and criminal trespass.
Also, during this period deputies with the JCSO responded to 153 calls for service including 38 stopping suspicious person/vehicle, 22 subject needs officer, 15 suspicious person and/or vehicle, nine accidents, six road hazard, five alarm, and four each domestic and vandalism of property.
During this same period the Monticello Police Department (MPD) reported the following arrests:
Oscar Carl Thomas, 61, Monticello—public drunkenness.
Andy Mark Carter, 44, Monticello—disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
Oscar Henry Jenkins, 45, Monticello—obstruction or hindering law enforcement officers, disorderly conduct and loitering or prowling and public drunkenness.
Rosala Bautista, 27, Monticello—license violation.
Jorge Lucas Bautista, 29, Monticello—probation violation (2 counts).
Also, during this period officers with the MPD responded to 88 calls for service including 38 stopping suspicious person/vehicle, 16 escort or convoy, 10 subject needs officer, three trouble unknown, two each alarm, dog disturbance and persons refusing to leave, one each fight, accident, crowd disbursement, foot patrol, extra patrol, juvenile complaint, vandalism of property, road hazard and 911 hang up.
In addition, during this period the Georgia Depart of Resources (DNR) reported the following arrests:

Marcus Paul Frank, 20, Loganville—possession/manufacture/distribution of a controlled substance and possession of alcohol by person under 21 years of age.
Keaton Wayne Lester, 17, Snellville—possession/manufacture/distribution of a controlled substance and possession of alcohol by person under 21 years of age.
Christian Reese Blalock, 20, Loganville—possession/manufacture/distribution of a controlled substance and possession of alcohol by person under 21 years of age.
Justin Blake Walker, 20, Monroe—possession/manufacture/distribution of a controlled substance and possession of alcohol by person under 21 years of age.
