Regina Ann Cruse Blankenship

Regina Ann Cruse Blankenship, 89, of Monticello, formerly of Douglasville, died Saturday, August 28, 2010.

She was born March 3, 1921, in Marietta, to Nolan and Annie Hamilton Cruse. She was retired from Nabisco and Colonial Bakery Stores and was Baptist by faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Blankenship and brother, Nolan Cruse, Jr.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Franklin and Rebecca Blankenship of Winston; daughter, Pat Cann of Monticello; sister, Willie Norton of Denver, N.C.; four grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.

Funeral services are to be held Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 2 p.m. from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel, Douglasville with Rev. Ken Hennesy officiating. Interment will follow in the Midway Presbyterian Cemetery, Hwy. 120, Marietta.
