Peggy Jeanette Peppers Walker

Peggy Jeanette Peppers Walker, 61, of Newborn, died on September 7, 2010.

She was born in Monroe on November 10, 1948 to Rosie Mae Morrell Peppers and the late Owen Clarence Peppers. She was preceded in death by her brother, the late Emory Graham Peppers.

Surviving are her husband, Joe Walker of Newborn; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Heather Walker of Monroe, Johnny and Brandi Walker of Newborn; mother: Rosie Mae Peppers of Winder; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Sam Smith of Monroe, Bertie Sargent of Monroe, Diane and Jeff Patrick of Winder, and Bessie Bridges of Monroe; brothers and sisters-in- law, Thomas and Peggy Peppers of Monroe, Ralph and Bessie Peppers of Monroe, Billy Peppers of Watkinsville, Danny and Faye Peppers of Loganville, Gene and Sally Peppers of Watkinsville, Donald and Delaine Peppers of Monroe; grandchildren, B.J. Walker, Jessica Walker, Peggy Walker, Annie Cummings, Helsha Huggins, Kelsey Cowan, and Candi Waters; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 9 at 3 p.m. at the
Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. John Cox and the Rev. Glen McIntire officiating. Interment followed at Social Circle City Cemetery.
