Mike Lindsey

Mike Lindsey of Monticello died Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010 at his residence.

He was born on February 6, 1958 in Covington to Wallace and Gail Maddox Lindsey. He was the owner of Lindsey’s Machine Shop. Mr. Lindsey loved farming and taking care of his beagles and cows. He enjoyed outdoors, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Lindsey of Monticello; parents Wallace and Gail Lindsey of Porterdale; son, Michael Lindsey Jr., of Monticello; brother, Jeff Lindsey; children, Daniel Hinkelman and Phillip Clegg, both of Monticello; Denise Clegg of Covington, Cindy Lindsey of Minnesota; several nieces and nephews and other relatives, and his number one pal, “Little Man”.

The family will receive friends at Wheeler Funeral Home on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010 from 2-4 p.m.
