Patricia Anne Kirksey Morgan

Patricia Anne Kirksey Morgan, 66, of Americus died Saturday, Dec. 4th at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center.

She was born June 29, 1944 to the late William “Doc” and Eleanor Bush Kirksey of Gray, GA. She lived in Monticello while her father coached for the Monticello High School in the late 1940’s. She worked for the Sumter County Board of Education.

Ms. Morgan is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Tammy and Randall Satterfield of Americus; son and daughter-in-law: Johnny and Tammy Morgan of Charlotte, N.C.; grandchildren: Colton, Morgan and Ashton Satterfield of Americus and Patrick, Payton and Pierce Morgan of Charlotte, N.C.; sister and brother-in-law Barbara and Dennis Wells of Griffin; brother and sister-in-law: Jud and Jenifer Kirksey of Monticello and numerous nephews and nieces.

Funeral services are to be held Tuesday, Dec. 7 at Bethel Baptist Church in Americus with the Rev. Steven Golden officiating.

The family will receive friends today, Dec. 6, 6-8 p.m. at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel in Americus. The family suggest that memorial contributions be made to the PK Morgan Scholarship Fund at Citizens Bank of Americus.
