Varsity Basketball Canes Off to Slow Start

The varsity basketball ‘Canes saw their first action in loses to Decatur and Paidela on November 22 and 23 when they participated in a season tip off tournament in Decatur.

Their record dropped to 0-3 last Friday in a 67-56 loss to Eagles Landing Christian Academy. Their next action is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 14 at Pike County at approximately 7:30 p.m.

The Lady ‘Canes are 1-1 with a season opening 56-34 win over Washington-Wilkes, and a 66-41 loss versus Central Gwinnett (8-AAAAA) on November 22.

They will also return to action on Tuesday, December 14 at Pike County at approximately 6 p.m.
