Deer Capital Leads Hunt

Deer Capital has taken several children hunting over the past week. Pictured here are Bryan Maddox and son, Trent Maddox and Tyler Wages with a doe he took doing some quality deer management on a Deer Capital representative’s farm.

What is nice is that all youth hunters saw deer however, not all were lucky enough to get the shot needed to harvest one. Deer Capital stresses safe hunting and gives each child that is taken hunting a hunter safety CD that is used to help in passing the state hunter safety course. John and Clinton Currie also went hunting on another trip that was arranged by Deer Capital.

The Deer Capital Banquet date has been changed to Friday, Feb 18, 2011 at Charlie Elliot Wildlife Banquet Hall. Dinner and festivities will begin at 6 p.m. and are scheduled to last until 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 for members and $35 for non-members.

Ticket includes dinner, door prizes and guest speaker John Carpenter of Pennington Seeds segment on Buckmaster TV. The event will be educational and a lot of fun with drawings and giveaways. Many other special guests are also expected to be on hand to answer questions.
