Grand Jury Returns 27 Indictments

A Jasper County Grand Jury convened Monday, and in a Special Presentment, indicted Brandon Thompson on the counts of Aggravated Child Molestation, Aggravated Sodomy and Child Molestation. The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) alleged the crimes occurred last summer.

An indictment by the Grand Jury is not an indication of guilt, but rather that sufficient evidence has been presented to have an individual charged and taken to trial, or plea the charges.

•Michael P. Watson—child molestation.

•Jessie Gude—burglary.

•Jeremy Gower—burglary, three counts.

•Dustin C. Kent—burglar, four counts.

•Antonio D. Williams—burglary, four counts.

•Edward Broadus—burglary, four counts.

•Gabriel L. Lamar, Jr.—burglary, four counts.

•Charles B. Goen—stalking and burglary.

•Juanita Brake—aggravated assault.

•Ethel S. Thomas—two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of cruelty to children in the first degree.

•Marlon A. Thurman—aggravated assault on a police officer, attempting to elude police officer, reckless driving, and driving while licence suspended.

•Brent T. McCall—aggravated assault, criminal damage to property in the second degree, and cruelty to children in the second degree.

•Kenneth G. Cochran—–two counts of aggravated assault, and discharging firearm while under the influence of alcohol.

•Calvin Davis—two counts of theft by taking.

•Tawana A. Robinson—financial identity fraud.

•Clayton A. Bookout—aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

•Lora Ryles—false statements and writings.

•John Bradley Enriuque—manufacturing marijuana and theft by receiving stolen property.

•John Belrmineo Enrique—manufacturing marijuana.

•Kristi White—manufacture of marijuana.

•Morgan Thames—manufacturing marijuana, and two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted.

•William T. Patrick—possession of hydorcodone within 1000 feet of a school.

•Jerome Stokes—possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana.

•Angela M. Payne—impersonating a police officer.

•Rose M. Pullens—possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of marijuana.

•Michael D. Vickers—possession of marijuana.

•Charles R. Williamson—possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

•Joseph L. Kellam—terroristic threats and acts.

•Desmond N. Mullins—possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

•Xazavin Jackson—possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

•Keidarious Foster—possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during commission of a crime, driving without license, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a school, and sale of marijuana.

•William J. Wilson—possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a school, use of communication facility in drug transaction, and sale of marijuana.

•Lawrence F. Dorsey, Jr.—aggravated assault and battery/family violence.

•Brittany C. Allen—criminal trespass and battery.

•Taylor Chafin—criminal trespass and battery.

The Grand Jury returned two No Bills of Indictment, meaning not enough evidence owas presented. Billy W. Lackey will not be charged with theft by conversion. In addition, the charge of homicide by vehicle against Guy Warren was no-billed. That charge wsa in connection with an incident last summer that the sheriff’s department at that time called an accident.
