Robbery, Burglaries Are Solved
Three suspects in the armed robbery of Susie Q’s Convenience Store on January 11, have been arrested by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO). Miles X. Campbell, 19, of Monticello, Kyle Daniel Anderson (aka Kyle Byrd), 20, of Monticello, and Haley Noelle Blackmon, 17, of Covington are all three in custody and charged with armed robbery, with no bond having been set as of press time.
An arrest warrant for armed robbery in the same case has also been issued for Nicholas Standifer, who is still at large at this time. Also, Mr. Campbell had been previously arrested and charged with theft by receiving stolen property.
According to sources, Ms. Blackmon transported the three males and dropped them off just north of the store, and Mr. Standifer stood watch while Mr. Campbell and Mr. Anderson entered the store. After the robbery the suspects were reported to have been picked up by Ms. Blackmon just north of Henderson Mill Road on Hwy 11.
The JCSO has also issued arrest warrants for suspects in the theft of over $45,000 worth of four-wheel vehicles (5) at a residence on King Plow Road in Shady Dale on January 7. Kyle Daniel Anderson, Justin Alexander Bowles, Keifer Wayne Wood, Jeffery Sean Kidd II, and Christopher M. Labriola have all been charged with burglary.
Mr. Anderson and Mr. Bowles are in custody, while the other three suspects remain at large at press time.

Michael Perkins Watson, 48, Monticello-theft by receiving stolen property.
Jeremy Shane Kidd, 33, Covington-driving unsafe or improperly equipment vehicle and license violation.
Cherie Ann Dockery, 38, Monticello-battery and simple battery.
David Michael Obarr, 57, Lawrenceville-disorderly conduct.
Larandy Steven Gotel, 28, Monticello-obstruction or hindering law enforcement officers, terroristic threats and acts, probation violation (2 counts).
Rodney Andrew Snow, 44, Shady Dale-hold for warrant in Rockdale County.
Christie Lynn Tanner, 42, Monticello-simple battery.
Gabriel Louis Lamar, Jr., 18, Haddock-burglary (4 counts).
Edward Jerome Broadus, Jr., 17, Milledgeville-burglary (4 counts).
During this same period deputies with the JCSO responded to 138 calls for service including 36 stopping suspicious person/vehicle, 12 subject needs officer, nine alarm, eight attempt to serve warrant, six each accident and mechanical break down, four each escort or convoy, pick up prisoner, juvenile complaint and vandalism of property, three each dog disturbance, assist motorist, theft by taking and threatening/harassing calls, two each fight, livestock on road, child custody case, discharge firearms, dead on arrival, trouble unknown, road hazard, abandoned vehicle and VGCSA, one each prowler report, domestic, speeding auto, fire/brush, wanted/stolen indicated, fall cardiac arrest, miscellaneous EMS, assault, extra patrol, welfare check, indecent exposure, music/noise complaint, suspicious package and fraud/theft by deceiving.
The Monticello Police Department (MPD) reported that Perry’s Floor Coverings on Funderburk Drive was broken into over the past weekend and two lawn mowers and assorted tools were taken.
Also during the period mentioned above the MPD reported the following arrests:
Melissa Michelle Lisvey, 28, Monticello: disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
Randy Cargile, 47, Monticello: public drunkenness.
During this same period officers with the MPD responded to 49 calls for service including eight stopping suspicious person/vehicle, four subject needs officer and argument, three each alarm, burglary, accident, and theft by taking, two each escort or convoy, mechanical break down, music/noise complaint and 911 hang up, one each domestic, assist motorist, intoxicated pedestrian, fire/structure, shortness of breath, fall, miscellaneous EMS, assault, juvenile complaint, private property, trouble unknown, test call and shoplifter.
