Gloria Juanita Folendore Parks

Gloria Juanita Folendore Parks, 81, of Hillsboro, died Friday, Feb. 18, 2011, at Coliseum Medical Center in Macon.

Mrs. Parks was a lifelong resident of Jasper County. Her parents were the late William Evan Folendore and Emmie Florece Rigdom Folendore. She was a member of Hillsboro Baptist Church. Before retirement, Mrs. Parks was an inspector for the Monticello Bobbin Mill for 19 years. Her husband, John Robert Parks, preceded her in death in 2003.

Survivors include a daughter, Jeannine Tabor of Byron; son and daughter-in-law, Perry and Tina Parks of Macon; grandchildren, Christie Parks, Robert “Rob” Parks, Dawn and Jonas Alday, and Samuel “Sam” and Gina Tabor; great-grandchildren, Savanna Alday, Ridge Alday, Joshua Alday, Brittany Tabor, Lance Tabor, and Dusty Ratterree; brother, Charles Folendore of Macon; sisters, Betty Boose of Monticello, Sandra Fowler of Eatonton, and Sybil Barfield of Warner Robins; and a number of nieces and nephews


Funeral services were scheduled for Monday, February 21, 2011, at Hillsboro Baptist Church. Burial was to be held in Fullerton Memorial Gardens. Rev. Stan Patterson officiated. Pallbearers were Scooter England, Randy England, Brian England, Wayne Greene, Chandler Greene and Buddy Craine.
