Piedmont Boys Soccer Team Loses
It was not a good road trip for the Piedmont Academy boys soccer team Tuesday.
The Cougars fell 7-1 to Loganville Christian in what was a disappointing performance for the squad.
“It was one of those things where we played flat all night,” said assistant coach Jake Landress. “If we could have shown as much enthusiasm as we did last week it would have been a completely different game.”
Despite the score, Landress said goalkeeper Rhett Roberts had a solid outing. “Rhett played the best he could despite not getting a lot of help,” Landress said. “We have to play like we want to be there.”

The Piedmont teams will play at Lafayette Christian tomorrow, March 18, beginning at 4 p.m. The junior varsity girls will travel to Westside Baptist today, March 17 for a 5 p.m. match.
The Lady Cougars were slated to face John Milledge last Thursday but a scheduling conflict prevented the contest.
