TWO INJURED

Two Jasper County High School students were injured in this single vehicle accident last Saturday on Turtle Cove Trailway.

Sadarius Rooks, driving a 1991 Honda Civic, and a passenger were injured and taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon where they were treated and released.

According to the report from the Georgia State Patrol, while negotiating a curve the vehicle traveled into the left lane then back into right lane and onto the north shoulder going 112 feet on the roadway.

It then rotated clockwise, and continued west 107 feet before striking a tree on the left side. Mr. Rooks was charged with failure to maintain lane.
