DAWGS PLACE SECOND

The Dawgs nine and younger travel baseball team, which includes players from Jasper County, recently captured second place in the NIT Arbor Day Frenzy held in Macon. The team finished second out of seven teams competing for the Championship. The Dawgs had a 3-1 record going into the final game. The Dawgs played with confidence and determination to get them to the Championship game against Team Precision out of Locust Grove. Ultimately, the Dawgs lost 9-8, but not without a brutal fight to the end.
