BIG CABBAGE

Piedmont Academy third grader Owen Brady may not be one of the vendors at the Market Festival on the Square when it opens this Saturday, but he ought to be judging by the size of the cabbage he grew.

Master Brady knows how important agriculture is to Georgia and he understands the work involved in growing a garden. The Market would like to help get young people involved in agriculture, and that’s one reason it opens on Saturday mornings.
