119 Graduate from Jasper County High School

Some 119 seniors received their diplomas at ceremonies Saturday night at Rose Bowl Field.
Dylan Teribury, senior class president, welcomed everyone, then Shanel Lewis, senior class vice-president of graduation gave the invocation. Salutatorian Megan Fontaine reminisced with her classmates, and Valedictorian Phillips Workman challenged his classmates in their future endeavors.
Dr. Mike Newton, Jasper County school superintendent, presented diplomas to each of the graduating seniors, then Mr. Teribury led the turning of the tassel. After singing the alma mater, Dwayne Miller, senior class vice-president of awards gave the benediction.
Torchbearers were Steven Bradley and Ami Labriola. Ushers were Katherine Andrews, Luke Bales, Brittany Benedict, Amanda Cameron, Heather DeBoer, Katie Gardner, Hunt Kelly, Brady McMichael, Quintavius Stokes, and Alexis Williams.
