Raymond Daniel Lites

Raymond Daniel Lites, 56, of Monticello, died Thursday, June 9, 2011, at his residence.

Mr. Lites was born in Chicago, Ill. to the late Raymond Pat Lites and Mattie Pearl Chancey Lites. He lived in Newnan for a number of years before moving to Monticello in 2010. He loved to sing. Mr. Lites was a security guard for the Sports Authority Warehouse in McDonough.

Survivors include his wife, Alma Jane Swafford Lites of Monticello; children and daughter-in-law, Priscilla Lites of Tifton, Johnny Lites of Fort Valley, and Joey and Jennifer Lites of Brooks; grandchildren, Gavin Lites, Tommy Lites, Matthew Lites, Selina Lites, and Jacob Lites; and sisters and brothers, Jeanette Hall of Posen, Ill., Mary Weeks of Sharpsburg, Herbert Lites, Wayne Lites, Kevin Lites, all of Newnan, and Sam Lites and Joyce Gray, both of Locust Grove.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 13, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Woolsey Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Interment was held in White Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Senoia. Pastor Chuck Chambers officiated.
