Joseph Lewis Kellam

Joseph Lewis Kellam, 77, of Shady Dale, died Sunday, June 19, 2011, at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle.

Mr. Kellam was born in Atlanta, and lived in Stone Mountain for a number of years before moving to Shady Dale 16 years ago.

He attended Georgia Tech. He worked for the Coca-Cola Company, Delta Airlines, and owned and operated the Pizza by Candlelight in Decatur for 28 years.

Before retirement, he worked for Ace Hardware in Social Circle.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Scull Kellam of Shady Dale; sons, Michael Kellam, and Jodie Richards; and daughters, Angel Steele and Teresa Gray.

A brother preceded him in death.
