Agnes Ora Pack Francis

Agnes Ora Pack Francis, 82, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, at Serenity Place Hospice in Dublin.

Mrs. Francis was born in Ranger to the late Fletch Pack and Sally Shipman Pack. She moved to Monticello in 1952. She attended Bethel Baptist Church. Ms. Francis was a homemaker and loved to garden and cook. She was preceded in death by brothers, Clyde Pack, Lee Pack, and James Pack; and sisters, Ailene Yancey and Nancy Waters.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Jackson Francis of Monticello; daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Terry Shi of St. Cloud, Fla., and Jackie and Gary Walker of Eatonton; grandchildren, Allen Karns, Craig Shi, Tonya Shi Figueroa, Michael Shi, and Travis Walker; great-grandchildren, Aaron Karns, Aiden Karns, Kayla Shi, Rachael Shi, Justin Shi, Breanna Shi, Hunter Shi, Sharlene Figueroa, Nathan Figueroa, Michael O. Shi, Austin Shi, Carson Walker, and Dalton Walker; and brothers and sisters, Truman Pack of Doraville, Frank Pack of Ranger, Dimple Tanner of Cartersville, Jo Dixon of Dalton, and Jen Lee Tanner of Locust Grove.

A graveside service was held Saturday, August 6, 2011, at 10 a.m. at Williams Payne Cemetery in Monticello. Rev. Dewey Fisher was to officiate.
