Cedric Gerrod Standifer

Funeral services for Cedric Gerrod Standifer were scheduled yesterday, Aug. 17, 2011 from the Chapel of all Faiths in Milledgeville. Interment was to follow in the Sons of Wisdom and Daughters of Light Society Cemetery.

Mr. Standifer of Haddock died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011 in an area hospital. He was born May 26, 1971.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jeannette Sari Standifer; four children, Courtney Standifer, Jaccari Standifer, Kennedi Standifer, all of Milledgeville, and Ahjli Standfier of Macon; three stepsons, Montavius Adams of Macon, Quentin Nixon and Rubin “R.J.” Pyatt Jr., all of Milledgeville; mother Mrs. Joann Barnes and father, Richard Lee Standifer, all of Milledgeville; a sister, Mrs. Jacquan Pennamon of Monticello; two step-sisters, Mrs. Tomilo Rooks of Monticello and Jessica Calhoun of Jonesboro; a stepbrother, Tommy Barnes, Jr. of Greensboro; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Ella Standifer of Monticello; a special aunt and uncle, Johnnie Mae and Otis Goolsby of Monticello; and a number other relatives.
