Superior and Magistrate Courts Process Cases
Jasper County Superior Court convened Tuesday with Judge James L. Cline, Jr., presiding. The following cases were processed with details as shown:
•Roderick Dean Dumas had his probation revoked for the new offenses of criminal damage to property in the second degree, aggravated assault, reckless conduct and failure to pay fines and fees. Mr. Dumas was sentenced to serve the balance of his probation in the state penal system with an end date of May 8, 2014. Mr. Dumas was on probation for aggravated stalking in February of 2005.
•Antoinett Murray pled guilty to simple battery/family violence and was sentenced to time served.
•Dewayne Carter pled guilty to obstruction of an officer and was sentenced to time served.
•Carolyn Denise Mashburn pled guilty to battery/family violence and was sentenced to time served.

Also, the Magistrate Court convened Friday for criminal arraignments, with Judge Bobby Jacobs, presiding. The results of the cases on the calendar include:
•Troy Payne Allen pled guilty to possession of marijuana less than one ounce, and was sentenced to 12 months on probation, 30 hours community service, mandatory attendance of Drug Diversion Class and a fine of $695.
•Donald Hill pled guilty to disorderly conduct and was sentenced to 12 months probation, 30 days in jail, mandatory attendance of Alcohol and Drug Counseling and a fine of $420. He then had the above probation revoked for yet another charge of disorderly conduct, and was sentenced to 102 days confinement with credit for time served since July 22, 2011.
•Michael Webster Tatum pled guilty to disorderly conduct, and was sentenced to 12 month probation, 20 hours community service and a fine of $210.
•Travis Wilson pled guilty to disorderly conduct, and was sentenced to 12 months probation, 20 hours community service and a fine of $210.
•Billy Gene Watson, Lisa Darlene Biddy and Frank Lackey all three pled not guilty to the charge of disorderly conduct, and are scheduled for a bench trial on October 28.
