Geraldine Williams, 83, of Covington died November 23, 2011.

Mrs. Williams was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She loved her family, her church, and her many, many friends. She was known for her kindness and sense of humor. She is loved, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. Williams, Sr.; son, Ronald Lamar Williams; and her parents, William and Nellie Louise Green.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Lorraine Williams of Covington; nieces, Brenda L. and Tom Savage of Locust Grove, Janice A. and Steve Smith of Oxford; nephew, Larry H. and Lisa Pulliam of Rutledge; several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Williams will be held Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at 2 p.m., at the chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington, with Pastor Charles Roper officiating, and interment following in Adamson Cemetery in Jonesboro.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, Dec. 3, from 6-8 p.m.
