BIG WINNER

Ed Hall, with six entries, was the grand prize winner of four tickets to the Chick-fil-A Bowl in Atlanta. Mr. Hall was present at The Monticello News office last Friday when the drawing was held.

The boyfriend of county Extension agent, Kasey Reid, they each had several entries in the grand prize drawing, and they wanted to be here to see who won. Miss Reid comes every year to witness the drawing. Three Monticello News employees, Mr. Hall, Miss Reid, and 4-H’er Shawn Neely were all present for the drawing, but no other contestants showed up for it.

Nonetheless, like always, the names were thoroughly mixed in the cookie jar from which Mr. Neely selected one piece of paper. Imagine the surprise of all when Mr. Hall’s name was drawn.
