William Benjamin Cronic

William Benjamin Cronic, 71, of Social Circle died on Sunday, December 25, 2011.

Memorial services will be held Friday, Dec. 30, at 11 a.m. at Bethany Baptist Church in Madison. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Rev. Tom Duff will officiate.

The family may be contacted at the residence of Mr. & Mrs. Jeff Bruce, 378 Thurman Baccus Road, Social Circle, GA 30025 from 5 until 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Bethany Baptist Church, 1080 Bethany Church Road, Madison, GA 30650.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dave Clark, Dan Porter, Jack Cathey, Marty Wilson, Adam McGinnis, Jason McGinnis, Robert Johnson, Andy Hays, Zippy Duvall, Brian Causey.

Mr. Cronic was born in Greensboro, the son of the late William Bryson Cronic and Ethel Faye Duvall Cronic. He was a retired dairy farmer and a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Harper Cronic of Social Circle; children, Leigh Anne Floyd of Macon, Bethany Bruce of Social Circle; grandson, Cameron Bruce, and a sister, Jane McGinnis of St. Augustine, FL, formerly of Monticello.
