Probate Judge Seeks Re-Election

Linda Mock Keller announced this week that she is seeking re-election as Jasper County Probate Judge.

Judge Keller has served as Probate Judge since 2005 and was Clerk of Probate Court for 10 years prior.

Judge Keller has been a resident of Jasper County for almost 40 years.

“Jasper County is very important to me. My children grew up here and now my grandchildren are growing up here. The future of Jasper County is very important to me. My husband and I plan to retire in Jasper County,” said Judge Keller.

“In my 16 years in the Probate Court, I have seen an increase in the number of contested actions and an increase in the various types of cases. Probate laws, traffic law and firearms laws are constantly changing. Only through experience and continuing education can the needs of the citizens of Jasper County be fully met,” she said.

“If re-elected I promise to continue to work with the other Constitutional Officers and court personnel and to operate my office as economically efficient as possible while meeting the mandates of the state and providing the friendly, prompt, courteous and competent services the citizens of Jasper County deserve.”
