Probation is Revoked for Failure to Report

In Jasper Superior Court Tuesday, with Judge Hulane E. George, presiding, the court found sufficient evidence that Randy Lee Heath had violated his probation on the charge of possession of meth in November of 2009, by failure to report as directed and failing to pay court ordered fines or fees as directed. Mr. Heath was sentenced to serve 90-120 days in a State Detention Center, and upon completion return to regular probation.

Three other Probation Violation cases were processed with details as follows:

•Sarah Elaine Collins, who was on probation for Deposit Account Fraud in August, 2011, was determined to have violated her probation by failing to avoid injurious and vicious habits by testing positive for use of a drug without prescriptions to support usage. Ms. Collins was sentenced to 16 days in the Jasper County Jail with credit for time served, 20 hours of community service, and to be returned to active probation upon completion.

•Michael Dean Vickers, who was on probation for possession of marijuana in August, 2011, was determined to have violated his probation by testing positive for drugs and failure to pay court ordered fines and fees. Mr. Vickers was sentenced to time served (21 days), and given 45 days to enroll in a drug treatment program, and upon completion to have outstanding fines and other conditions of probation waived.

•Antonio Lernard Buggs, who was on probation for obtaining dangerous drugs by forgery in February, 2011, was determined to have violated his probation by failure to report and failure to pay court ordered fines and fees. Mr. Buggs was sentenced to time served (26 days) and upon payment of $345 in arrears have probation terminated.
