Nathaniel “Nate” Hicks

Nathaniel “Nate” Hicks, 59, died December 22, 2011.

He was born July 10, 1952 to late Willie Clem and Lucille Terry Hicks.

He attended public school in the Jasper County public school system. He enjoyed driving tractors, fishing, and playing baseball.

A brother, Tommie Hicks, preceded him in death.

Survivors include three brothers, Charles and Rubie Terry, J.C. Hicks, and Willie Hicks; a sister, Barbara Ann Stone; and a number of other relatives and friends.

A service was held Tuesday, Dec. 27 at the chapel of Smith and Sons Funeral Home, in Monticello.
