Piedmont B-Team Battles Brentwood

The Piedmont Academy B-team basketball squads hosted Brentwood Saturday.

The Lady Cougars fell 37-19 despite seven points from Jordan Chandler. Haley Tyler added five points while Bridgette Phillips scored four points. Taylor Swart added two points while Cheyenne Galloway scored one.

In the boys contest, Piedmont fell 53-36 to visiting Brentwood. Britton Bailey was the leading scorer for the Cougars with 15 points followed by Gabe Courtman with five. Owen Kimball and Zach Wilson both scored four points while Chandler Burrell added three. Austin Taylor and Hank Strickland finished with two points while Ethan Davidson made a free throw.
