ONE INJURED IN WRECK

There was one injury reported from this accident which occurred between a car and two motorcycles last Wednesday, Feb. 8 around 5 p.m. The passenger car was traveling west on Hwy. 16 toward Jackson and was attempting to make a left hand turn into a driveway.

As he slowed, one of the motorcycles ran into the rear of the vehicle. Johnna Carr, the female driver of the motorcycle was injured and transported to Jasper Memorial Hospital.

The driver of the car, Andy Martin, and the second motorcyclist, Glenn Carr, were not injured. Jasper County Sheriff’s Officer Rick Cook and an officer from the Georgia State Patrol worked at the scene, with the trooper making the report.
