Jessica Monique Gude
Jessica Monique Gude, 27, of Monticello, died Friday, Feb. 17 of Sickle Cell Disease.
Ms. Gude, the youngest child of Nathaniel and Tinia Gude, was born May 31, 1984. She made an early dedication to God and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was a faithful servant until her death.
Ms. Gude is a 2002 honor graduate of Jasper County High School. She attended Gordon College School of Nursing, and also the Grady School of Radiology.
Miss Gude leaves to cherish her memories, a son, Isaiah Jemir Davis.
In addition to her parents and son, survivors include siblings and spouses, Ortez and Lynette Gude, Ginnena and Kenneth Hall and Audra K. Gude, and a host of aunts uncles, cousins, and friends.
Her grandparents were Sam and Hattie Kate Gude and Joe and Lestena Dudley.
A service was held Monday, Feb. 20 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 5777 Perimeter Rd., Monticello.
Smith and Sons Funeral Home, Monticello was in charge of arrangements.
