JCHS Bass Club Holds Tournament on Jackson

The Jasper County High School Bass Club held a fishing tournament Saturday on Jackson Lake.

Kevin Camp won the tournament with two fish weighing a total of 4.31 pounds.

Jonathan Jones placed second with 2.17 pounds, Billy Edwards finished in third place with 1.4 pounds, and Jason Cabe and Patrick Clement tied for fourth place with 1.04 pounds each. It was a cold and windy day making the fishing tough for all.

The tournament would not have been possible without the help of Berry’s Boat Dock, and the six adult boaters that donated their time and boats.

The Bass Club gave a big thank you to Cliff Bowden, Ben Cleary, Benji Cleary, Johnny Jenkins, Craig Monnin, and Richard Holden.
