Responders Learn About Extrication

Jasper County Fire Services held a Crash Victims Extrication Course on February 26 and 27.
This 16-hour course teaches emergency responders the basics of crash victim extrication from a vehicle by use of basic hand tools, hydraulic equipment, and other associated rescue equipment (the Jaws of Life).
Through this class emergency responders gained hands on experience in vehicle extrication and use of the necessary tools.
Participants included Ed Fritz, Jon Daniel, Matthew Sulack, Kenneth McGee Jr., Josh Robinson, John Sprayberry, Nick Johnston, Tyler Fritz, Jan Fowler, Brian Hill, Mary Tumlin, Russell Fowler, Tracy Johnston, Michelle Haddock, Emily Robinson, Keith Haddock, Travis Hulsey, Jarret Slocumb, Franklin Hulsey, Morris Bedor Jr., and Will Perry.
Vehicles were donated by Doug Currie with Southern Pro Towing.
