Meredith Taylor Tillman

Meredith Taylor Tillman, 35, of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.

Miss Tillman was born in Macon to the late Becky Lea Howard Tillman and Joseph Floyd Tillman. She was a lifelong resident of Hillsboro. She was a 1995 graduate of Jasper County Comprehensive High School. She was a member of Hillsboro Baptist Church.

Miss Tillman enjoyed arts and crafts. She loved to hunt and fish, and she especially enjoyed the fellowship it offered with friends, family and handicap organizations. She volunteered with Department of Family and Children Services and the Piedmont National Wildlife Refuge.

She is survived by her loving father, Joseph Floyd Tillman of Hillsboro; sister and brother-in-law, Mallette and Bubba Wilson of Monticello; nieces, Becky Leigh Wilson and Taylor Jo Wilson; grandmother, Marie Tillman; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, March 18, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Fullerton Memorial Gardens in Hillsboro. Rev. Danny Sorrells will officiate.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Meredith Tillman Memorial Fund, c/o Bank of Monticello, P.O. Box 29, Monticello, Georgia 31064.
