Stolen Loot Recovered; 3 Are Arrested
The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) secured arrest warrants on March 21 for William Biddy, Sr., Dana Michelle Pickett and Spencer David Pickett, all of an address on Herring Gull Court in Rolling Wood Cove. All three were arrested last Thursday, March 22, and charged with theft by receiving stolen property.
The arrests came after an investigation by the JCSO revealed they were in possession of a Vizio flat screen television complete with serial number, and a Phillips DVD home theater, also complete with serial number. These two items were taken in a burglary between December 23, 2011 and January 1, 1012 that took place at a residence on Lakeshore Drive. According to the affidavit for arrest warrant, the three knew the two items were stolen and attempted to hide them from law enforcement.
Mr. and Ms. Pickett both made bail on the day of their arrest for $5,000 each. Mr. Biddy remains incarcerated in the Jasper County Jail on a probation hold.
