Canes Get Ready to Make Run for Playoffs
The ‘Canes went into the Spring Break with a 4-4 record in Region 4AA. They returned to action Tuesday on the road versus Pike County, completed too late to report in this edition.
They return to action today, April 12 at home versus non-region foe Locust Grove. Then they begin a seven-game stretch of region games beginning with Northeast Macon.
This game was originally scheduled at home for tomorrow, April 13, however due to a rain-out game scheduled for earlier in the season, the team will travel to Macon for a double-header beginning at 4 p.m.

Both games will be played at Luther Williams stadium, the former home of the Macon Braves, with action beginning at 4 p.m.
After this double-header the ‘Canes will play five straight home games versus Southwest Macon, Putman, Greene, Crawford and Lamar, all region foes whom they are capable of defeating.
This all important stretch at the end of their season could very well define their season, and place them in a good position going into the playoffs.
The team is scheduled to take on Southwest at home Monday, April 16, and Putnam, also at home, Wednesday, April 18. Both games are scheduled for 5 p.m.
