Jean Sue White DuLong

Jean Sue White DuLong, 79, of Hillsboro, died Monday, April 30, 2012, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.

Mrs. DuLong was born in Gainesville to the late Joe White and Roberta Miller White. She lived and worked in Macon for a number of years as a dietician for the Masonic Children’s Home of Georgia and later, at Macon State College until her retirement. She moved to Jasper County in 1988 and was a member of Hillsboro Baptist Church.

A granddaughter, Deena Marshall, and brothers, Berlin White and J.C. White, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Arthur Neal DuLong of Hillsboro; children and spouses, Donald and Pat Marshall of Hillsboro, Brenda Jean Marshall of Florida, and Vickie and Charles Wainright of Nahunta; grandchildren, Scotty Daniel, Bobby Daniel, Angel Daniel, Devant Wainright, Jake Wainright, Jed Wainright, Alisha Carter, Mary Herrin, and Tony Outlaw; a number of great-grandchildren; and brothers, Wade White and Willard White of Lizella.

A memorial service will be held Friday, May 4, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Hillsboro Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Rev. John McDuffie will officiate.
