It’s Not Antiques Roadshow…But It’ll Be Interesting

The Jasper County Historical Foundation will hold its annual meeting on Saturday, May 5, starting at 10:30 a.m. and feature an Antiques Road Show-style event at 1 p.m.
Interested persons are invited to find out what that old painting, collectible or family heirloom is worth. The first 75 people interested to register at 10:30 a.m. in the City Government Complex will have their valuables appraised by antiques experts. Everyone is invited to take part and watch the event.
Following registration and a mixer, the annual meeting will begin at 11 a.m. with announcements of officers and awards followed by homemade lunch and desserts at noon (tickets are $10).
