Myrtle Cannon

Myrtle Cannon of Eatonton, 85, died Monday, May 28, 2012.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May, 29, 2012 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel in Eatonton from 6 to 8 p.m. Service will be Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Crossroads Baptist Church in Eatonton.

Mrs. Cannon was a native of Shady Dale, but had lived in Eatonton for more than 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Benjamin H. Cannon. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. Mrs. Cannon was retired from Enterprise Aluminum Company and loved to work in her garden tending to her lovely flowers.

She is survived by her daughters, Talethia Cannon Mason of Monticello, Judy Cannon Reeves and husband Steve of Griffin; brother, Ernest McCullum of Madison; sister, Marilyn Lewis of Florida, and grandchildren, Keith Mason, Kevin Mason, Rev. Scott Doster, and Stacy Wilson; great-grandchildren, Blair Mason, Lane Mason, Brittini Doster, Bud Doster, and great-great-grandchild, Tiffany Mason.

Vining Ivy Hill Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
