Billy Norris Seeks Re-Election as Coroner

Billy Norris has announced he is seeking re-election for Jasper County Coroner.

“I have 27 years experience as your county coroner,” he said.

Mr. Norris moved to Jasper County in 1971 with his parents, Rev. and Mrs. Henry Norris. His father was pastor of Monticello Methodist Church.

He and his wife, Carole Edwards Norris, have been married 35 years. They have a daughter Kerri, a son and daughter-in-law Zach and Amanda, and a granddaughter, Ella, all of whom live in the community.

Mr. Norris is a member of Monticello Presbyterian Church and a member of Jasper Masonic Lodge #50.

Mr. Norris said he has worked in the public safety field for the past 38 years as an EMT and as a paramedic.

“I thank you for the trust you have had in me in the past, and promise to continue to do the job as Jasper County Coroner in a professional and courteous manner.

“I ask for your continued support,” he said.
