X-Girls Are Tournament Champions

X-GIRLS POSE FOR TOURNAMENT PHOTO WITH FIRST PLACE TROPHY

After finishing in the top eight in the U.S.Fastpitch Association (USFA) state tournament recently in Carrollton, the Jones County based 12U girls fast pitch team, the X-Girls, returned to CAM-Sports action this weekend in Milledgeville to win its fourth championship of the year.

Tiella Banks, Tori Dover, Cheyanne Mosteller and Madison Reese, who struck out nine and also added a save to her win completed the four pitchers that each had a victory with outstanding pitching performances.

At the plate, Sydney Lanford led the offense, batting .750 for the tournament and adding a home run to her credit. Mosteller and Dover also hit home runs in the tournament, with Dovers’ coming in the form of a Grand-Slam in the Championship shoot out to clinch the victory!

Dover went on to pitch in the bottom of the inning to seal the deal and win the Championship, looking like a true MVP. Also coming up with big hits were Annalee Scarbary, Tiella Banks and Saranne Ezelle.
