Bucks Win State Title

THE BUCKS PLAY WELL, WIN, BRING HOME STATE TITLE

The Buck’s travel baseball team traveled to Statesboro last weekend to play in the USSSA 10 and under AA State tournament.

“The boys played hard all weekend and brought home the state title,” said Magen Wages, mother of team member Tyler.

The Buck’s scored 50 runs and only allowed 16 to be scored in the two day tourney.

There are four state tournaments—north, south, east and west, and the Bucks won the east.

This win advances the Buck’s to the final Four Tournament that is scheduled to be played in Hampton this weekend, June 22-24.

The team is made up of boys from Jasper, Putman, Baldwin and Jones counties.
