REALLY FRESH VEGETABLES

A. C. “Pee Wee” and Bobbye Ray display their fresh shelled crowder peas, white peas, butter beans, tomatoes, green beans, new potatoes, squash, corn, tomatoes and blueberries.
Pee Wee said he doesn’t sell anything he doesn’t grow, and that he got his tomatoes ripe early by babying them and covering them up at night.
The vegetables were sold at Saturday’s Market on the Square. The Market is open each Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
Everyone is invited to visit.
