Mid-July Signals Slow Crime Week

The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) only had one criminal report worthy of sharing this week, apparently, as it was a slow week for crime with few reports of break-ins and few arrests.

On July 15 a resident on Flamingo Drive in Turtle Cove reported the theft of four $50 bills and 30 twenty-dollar bills, for a total of $800. Anyone with information concerning this incident is encouraged to call the JCSO at 706-468-4912, or use the anonymous tips line at 706-468-tips.
