All Jasper Addresses Will Get Newspaper

The Monticello News will send every address in Jasper County a copy of the July 26 newspaper.

Subscribers and new readers alike will receive a copy of the paper which will be the last one before the July 31 primaries.

The News is offering this service so that people in the county who are not aware of the newspaper will see what they are missing, and to give candidates and others a chance to also reach those readers.

Because of the time involved in preparing the mailing, The News deadlines have been moved up. Everything for next week’s paper must be in The News office by 5 p.m. tomorrow, July 20. Call 706-468-6511 for more information.

Many people live in the rural areas of the county and do not realize that The News is delivered in the mail each week, reaching most subscribers on Thursday, and the remainder on Friday.

Every address with zip codes 31064, Monticello; 31085, Shady Dale, and 31038, Hillsboro will receive the paper. In addition, all persons living in Jasper County and having zip codes 30055, Mansfield, or 30056, Newborn, will also receive the paper.

Out-of-county subscribers will receive their papers on the same day as usual.
