Lady Cougars Will Return to Action

The Piedmont Academy varsity softball will return to the field today, Sept. 6, when the Lady Cougars host Arlington at 6 p.m.

Last Thursday’s game against LaGrange was rained out. The game will be made up at a later date, coach Danny Camp said.

Piedmont entered this week 7-1 overall and 2-1 against region foes. The Lady Cougars will also travel to Tattnall Square Saturday for two games. Piedmont will play Brentwood at noon and Tattnall at 2 p.m.

The Middle School Lady Cougars are also scheduled to play against Arlington today at 4:30 p.m. The Middle School game Tuesday against Nathanael Greene was postponed due to weather conditions.
