Burglaries Continue to be Reported
A deputy with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a residence on Partridge Dive in Turtle Cove Saturday after a neighbor found a broken window in the basement area of the home.
According to information received from the JCSO an investigation revealed that two Samsung flat screen TV’s had been stolen. Also, on September 7 a resident on Hwy. 142 in Shady Dale reported the license plate of his vehicle had been stolen. The number on the plate is: BZR9278.
In addition, on September 3 a resident on Wyatt Road in northern Jasper County reported that a Nintendo Model Wii and a Magnovox DVD player had been stolen.

•Adam Martinez, 17, Shady Dale—driving without a license and tail light violation.
•Stephanie Deanne Cox, 33, Covington—driving while license suspended or revoked and tail light violation.
•James Barry McDonald, 48, Monticello—disorderly conduct.
•Tiffany Gayle Gillette, 36, Snellville—hold for warrant in Newton County.
•Donnie Luther Joyce, 41, Monticello—pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
•Cherie Ann Dockery, 40, Monticello—reckless conduct.
During this same period deputies with the JCSO responded to 149 calls for service including 53 stopping suspicious person/vehicle, 12 accident, 10 subject needs officer, nine alarm, six pick up prisoner/subject, five abandoned vehicle, four assist motorist, three each courtesy ride, intoxicated pedestrian, mechanical break down, theft by taking, music/noise complaint and threatening/harassing calls, two each domestic, direct traffic, escort or convoy, mental person, welfare check, trouble unknown, and vandalism of property, one each fight, dog disturbance, prowler report, burglary, speeding auto, wanted/stolen indicated, bleeding, miscellaneous ems, juvenile complaint, discharge firearms, possible suicide, private property, indecent exposure, sick, road hazard, trespassing and argument.
Also during this same period the Monticello Police Department (MPD) reported the following arrests:
•Teri Lynn Tyler, 55, Monticello—probation violation.
•Helen Ann Manning, 40, Monticello—disorderly conduct.
•Rhonda Cherie Randall, 45, Monticello—disorderly conduct.
In addition, during this period officers with the MPD responded to 72 calls for service including 28 stopping suspicious person/vehicle, 11 subject needs officer, three each alarm, burglary and argument, two each fight, accident, escort or convoy, e=and extra patrol, one each assist motorist, courtesy ride, intoxicated pedestrian, direct traffic, theft by taking, wanted/stolen indicated, bleeding, crowd disbursement, deliver emergency message, juvenile complaint, threatening/harassing calls, sick, abandoned vehicle, vandalism of property and road hazard.
Furthermore, during this period the Georgia State Patrol reported the arrest of Brandy Maria Hilder, 33, or Forsyth, and charged her with driving while license suspended or revoked.
