Middle School Lady Knights Defeat Lady Cavaliers

MCKENZIE TOLBERT SLIDES INTO THIRD

The Shiloh Christian Academy Lady Knights middle school softball team traveled to Macon on Tuesday to take on the Lady Cavaliers of Mt. DeSales and came away with a 16-2 win in a game shortened by mercy rule.

The Lady Knights were led at the plate by Emily Davidson who scored three runs and McKenzie Tolbert, Rachael Jackson, Josephine Martin, and Tori Luke, who all drove in two runs each.

Maddy Davidson came in to pitch in relief of Jackson and earned her first win as the SCA squad plated 11 runs in the first inning and never looked back.

The win improves the Lady Knights record to 3-5 on the year. The team travels to Gatewood in Eatonton today, Sept. 20, before finishing up their inaugural season at home next Tuesday when they host Central Fellowship from Macon.
