MS CANES BEAT GREENE CO.

The Middle School ’Canes won a big game vs. Greene Co. last Wednesday, 32-24. Coach Buddy Cain said that the team made big improvements this week and it showed in the game. The defense held Greene to a scoreless 26-0 through the middle of the third quarter. Coach Yelberton Frazier commended play by Glendon Graybill, Andrew Lee, Austin Peek and Jadrien Clark on the defensive line as well as linebacker Coulton Clay. He praised Matthew Lawson for an interception which resulted in a touchdown. The Canes offense saw scores from Gretarius Stewart, Jay Johnson and Lawson. The MS Canes were to play at Loganville yesterday, Oct. 10.
