FALL SPORTS AWARDS

Piedmont Academy recently held its banquet where athletes were awarded for their outstanding achievements for the season.

Those athletes recognized include for Lady Cougar softball—Hailey Burnham, most valuable player (MVP); Heather Tyler, best offensive player; Kacy Swart, best defensive player; Brittany Germany, coach’s award; Anna Jones, hustle award; Cheyenne Galloway, scholar athlete; and Morgan Tillman was most improved.

Awards for Cross Country runners included Lynne Marie Edwards, coach’s award; Logan Partenza, boys best time; Ms. Edwards, girl’s best time; Lucy Strickland, most improved girl; and Austin Bass (not pictured), most improved boy and scholar athlete.
